I’m a chartered accountant with 14 years experience in chartered accountancy and the commercial sectors across New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Canada.
Born and raised in the Bay of Plenty I finally made my way home after 10 years of living and travelling abroad, including studying in Otago and Vancouver. I have to admit, I love living in Tauranga; it’s great to be home in paradise! I feel lucky to be in the Tauranga office with such a fantastic team! Our guiding principles of ‘having fun’ and ‘being down to earth’ are obvious traits in the office, yet we are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure our clients receive the advice and service they deserve.
We believe we’ve found the right balance. I have a wide range of clients in the small-to-medium sector and prefer to take a partnership approach. Ultimately we are here to assist and support you in achieving your dreams and legacies, including the good, the bad, the ugly, and everything else in-between; it’s all part of the journey.
I believe a defining point of Legacy, is that we are big enough to have a vast range of knowledge and experience to deal with whatever issue you may be facing, yet we are still small enough to care. As directors, we take our client relationships seriously and pride ourselves on being accessible.
As one of the directors, I’m also part of the overall business leadership and development of Legacy, including being the chairman (or should I say chairlady). Outside of Legacy, I’m on the Board of Directors for Touch New Zealand, and if I’m not crunching numbers then it’s likely I’m spending time with friends and family, pedallng on my cruiser, or taking road trips in my ’67 Holden… but it’s a possibility I’m working – only because I love it so much!
